ABOUT

First Twin Company was founded in 2013 when I needed a new hobby.  Between YouTube and a beginner crocheting kit, I managed to make my first ever crochet item - a block monster.  I quickly began trying other items, depending heavily on YouTube and Google for assistance in learning to read crochet patterns.  I slowly began to find myself tweaking patterns to better suit my crochet habits and to simplify the process.

 

Fast forward and I began teaching others how to crochet, joining various crochet groups, and my passion continued to soar.  I would no longer use other patterns, entirely free handing all my work.  At this time, people would approach and asking for my designs inspiring an idea.  I began to write down my designs as I made them and published my first pattern.  Continue to today and I have many published designs, including eBooks and still more in the works.

I've been proud to be featured on Buzzfeed, Disney and many other blogs, even been asked to present work in various places.  You've all been so supportive of my passion and I'm forever grateful.

My patterns are designed for those of any skill level, from novice to master and all those in between.  I hope to keep the patterns simple enough to easily follow however give you the outcome of graceful beauty you are looking to achieve.  If there is a design I do not have, don't hesitate to reach out.  I'm happy to see what I can do.
